About Me
I am a primary care physician at Memorial Healthcare System. I care for adult patients with a variety of everyday injuries and illnesses, as well as chronic and metabolic conditions including obesity, weight gain, hypertension, asthma, high cholesterol and other conditions that require lifestyle changes.
I became a doctor because I wanted to make a positive impact in the community. As a primary care physician, I knew I would have the ability to work with entire families and help them improve their health and feel their best, whether through medical treatment or education.
I really enjoy building relationships with my patients so that I can better understand who they are, what they love doing, what they value and what their day-to-day lives are like. This information not only helps me get to know them but also allows me to help them make lifestyle changes that fit and work with their lives. At the end of the day, I want my patients to know how much I truly care for them and that I am always here to provide guidance and support.
In addition to providing individualized patient care, I also love educating the community about various timely health topics through podcast and media interviews and outreach. I also enjoy working with and training new doctors. We learn so much in medical school about the human body, but I strive to teach them about the importance of kindness and building relationships with patients, and how this can ultimately impact outcomes and the experience for all involved.
