About Me
I’m a primary care physician at Memorial Primary Care, where I care for patients with a wide range of health concerns. Some of the most common conditions I treat include hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, respiratory infections, chronic lung disease, chronic kidney disease and mental health issues. I am double board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology and have a special interest in managing the renal aspects of diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease. I’m also dedicated to preventive care, helping patients stay healthy and catch potential problems early.
My decision to become a doctor, specifically focusing on internal medicine and primary care, comes from a strong desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I value building long-term relationships with my patients, which allows me to provide holistic, continuous care that evolves with their needs.
I develop deep, lasting connections with patients and their families, fostering trust and understanding over time. At Memorial, we emphasize continuity of care, helping patients manage chronic conditions, stay on top of preventive care and maintain their overall health. I take pride in my role in preventive medicine, supporting my patients in avoiding serious health issues through early intervention, education and lifestyle changes.
When working with me, you can expect a supportive, personalized approach. I tailor my recommendations to fit your unique needs and preferences. Whether discussing treatment options, answering questions, or offering guidance, my goal is to communicate clearly and ensure you feel comfortable, informed, and involved in your care.
I’ve also served as the director of the post-COVID clinic at Memorial and the associate program director of the Internal Medicine residency program, where I help train and mentor future doctors. Teaching residents is one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I’m also involved in several quality improvement initiatives to enhance our patient care and overall experience
I also completed a master’s degree in public health with a major in health policy administration, which has encouraged me to be involved in the policies impacting healthcare delivery and public health outcomes.
