I am a family physician at Memorial Healthcare System where I specialize in caring for patients with hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, mental health concerns and thyroid conditions. I also provide preventive medicine including annual physical exams and screenings.

I knew I wanted to be a doctor from a very young age. I used to care for my aunts after they had surgeries and would often sneak around the hospital hallways to help other people I didn’t even know. I was attracted to family medicine because it allows me to serve the community at large by promoting health and disease prevention, as well as managing chronic and acute illnesses.

Working as a family physician, I enjoy establishing relationships with my patients and their families. We work as a team to achieve the best version of themselves through improved health. I educate patients and believe preventive medicine is key. Many people are unaware of the impact that lifestyle changes can have on many diseases.

At Memorial Primary Care, we make ourselves accessible to our patients when they need us most. I am also passionate about addressing the effects of community-level factors and social determinants of health that may be impacting people’s success and/or their lives.
