About Me
I am a family medicine physician at Memorial Primary Care. I treat a wide range of health concerns, from chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, asthma and depression to common acute illnesses like respiratory infections, UTIs and common skin conditions.
Growing up, I was inspired by my mother, a registered nurse, and the difference she made in the lives of her patients. That passion for medicine grew even stronger during my training work in inpatient care, where I saw firsthand the severe impact of uncontrolled chronic conditions like heart disease, stroke and kidney failure. Many of these complications were preventable with proper management of illnesses like hypertension, diabetes and obesity. That experience solidified my commitment to helping my patients control their chronic conditions and prevent them from becoming life-threatening.
At Memorial, we take a holistic, patient-centered approach to care. I believe that open communication and meeting you where you are in your health journey are key to achieving your goals. I’m here to listen to your concerns, answer your questions and work with you to create a personalized care plan that suits your needs. Being part of your health journey is a privilege, and I’m committed to providing care with respect, empathy and a genuine concern for your well-being.
Beyond patient care, I’m actively involved in professional organizations and have presented at several conferences on topics relevant to family medicine. One of my proudest achievements was being co-recipient of the American Academy of Family Physicians Resident Cares Award in 2022 for a project called "Feeding Our Community: An Initiative to Reduce Food Insecurity and Address the Social Determinants of Health in Underserved Communities." Through this project, I helped launch a food insecurity screening program and food bank at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, working alongside community partners to provide resources for those in need.
I am also passionate about advancing care and treatment options and our knowledge of chronic conditions. My clinical research interests focus on ways to control chronic illnesses and offer patients more tools to improve their health.
