About Me
I am a family medicine physician at Memorial Primary Care, where I provide preventive care and manage complex medical conditions to help patients stay healthy and navigate the healthcare system. I treat patients with everything from skin conditions to diabetes to chronic health maintenance and common gynecological issues, as well as acute issues like sciatica, flu and more.
I found my way to a career in medicine through my love for the sciences and the guidance of a professor who told me I would make a good physician. While in medical school, I was drawn to primary care and family medicine as it allows me to develop relationships with patients and treat people with various conditions/needs while also teaching students and residents.
During my training, I worked in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the region and one of the poorest cities in the U.S. Providing care to patients in these extremes helped me better understand the challenges and complexities of healthcare, as well as taking in all aspects of a patient's life when providing care.
As a South Florida resident for many years, I’ve personally experienced the care at Memorial and found it to be an exceptional place with the latest in technology but also a lot of humanity, caring and warmth. The rare blend of professionalism, high standards and human kindness enables me to provide the best care for my patients.
In addition to providing patient care, I continue to be passionate about teaching and giving lectures and presentations for students and new physicians.
