About Me
I am a psychiatrist at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, specializing in caring for children and adolescents. I work with young patients facing various challenges, including mood disorders like depression and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and psychotic disorders. I also have experience supporting those with intellectual disabilities and children involved in the welfare system.
My family’s influence led me to pursue a career in medicine, and after having children of my own, I felt drawn to specialize in pediatric psychiatry. It’s gratifying to help young people navigate their mental health and set them on a path toward well-being.
In my practice, I take a holistic approach to care, considering the biological, psychological and social factors that impact each patient. I listen with empathy and strive to create a non-judgmental space where patients and their families feel comfortable. I believe in partnering with parents and children in developing treatment plans, ensuring that their needs and goals are always central to the process. My goal is to give them the best possible start for a happy and healthy future.
