About Me

I am a neurologist at Memorial Neuroscience Institute, caring for patients with a wide array of complex neurological disorders. These include but are not limited to seizure disorders, acute headache syndromes, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune encephalitis, autoimmune neurological disorders, myasthenia gravis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome (PRES), cerebrovascular disease and stroke syndromes (ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes), stroke mimics and vasculitis.

Coming from a family with strong roots in the medical profession, I developed a passion for medicine at a young age. I was always intrigued by how much you can contribute to someone's life by providing compassionate medical care. I developed a strong passion for neurology while working on clinical trials at the University of Kentucky and was fascinated by the constant evolution and development in the field. New technologies, which are being introduced on a regular basis, are expanding our ability to help patients.

I am an avid believer in "cure comes with care," and I incorporate this belief into every interaction with my patients. I listen patiently, identifying their concerns (medically and socially) and addressing them accordingly. I strive to establish long-term relationships with patients and want them to feel confident that I am there for them when they need my help with medical care.

In addition to providing patient care, I present numerous research projects on local and national platforms and have published in several journals. I published the first case of Guillain Barré syndrome after the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 and was awarded the most cited author in 2022.
