About Me

I am a radiation oncologist at Memorial Cancer Institute. I care for patients with a variety of cancers throughout the body, including breast cancer, rectal cancer, lung cancer, anal cancer, lymphomas, brain tumors, gynecological cancers (uterine and cervical), prostate cancer, skin cancer and pancreatic cancer.

At age seven, I lost my father to cancer. I sought to maintain a connection with him by playing his violin, and music became an integral part of my life. I pursued a career in music education, and while it was rewarding, I still found myself looking for a way to impact people’s lives. Based on the experience with my father, I found my way to medicine.

While volunteering at hospitals and shadowing physicians, radiation oncology specifically caught my interest. The advances in medicine, technology and the ability to prolong patients’ lives fueled my desire to become a radiation oncologist and give others the time my father and I never had.

At Memorial, we focus on the whole patient — not just the disease — and do all we can to treat, comfort, support and empower patients in our care. I combine the latest radiation treatments with personalized care to address your unique needs and circumstances. I also work closely with medical and surgical oncologists to provide seamless, comprehensive care with you and your family as our primary focus.

Regardless of the outcome, we walk alongside you and your family every step of the way. We help you battle cancer, feel your best during and after treatment and address the various aspects of living with cancer.

In addition to providing patient care, I have contributed to clinical research to explore the effectiveness of treatment protocols and improve patient outcomes. At MCI, I enroll patients in clinical trials, helping people access some of the latest treatments available for various cancers.
