About Me
I am an advanced imaging cardiologist at Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute, specializing in caring for adult patients with valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy and arrhythmia. My passion lies in using cutting-edge imaging techniques such as cardiac MRI to uncover the underlying causes of complex cardiac conditions and guide personalized and effective patient care.
My journey in medicine began in Ghana, where I was inspired by the dedication of my grandmother and parents, who were healthcare professionals deeply involved in their community. Witnessing the profound impact of quality healthcare and education on individuals' lives fueled my commitment to this field.
Cardiac imaging is a dynamic and innovative area within cardiology, offering new insights and expanding treatment possibilities. I find great fulfillment in using these advanced imaging tools to piece together the story behind each patient's condition. By creating a comprehensive picture, I help bridge the gap between diagnosis and effective treatment.
As this field rapidly becomes a cornerstone of cardiology, I remain dedicated to delivering patient-centered care, informed by the latest medical advancements and technology. Central to my practice is patient education. I take the time to explain disease processes and the reasoning behind my recommendations, fostering trust and empowering patients in their care journey.
