Meet Our Faculty Preceptors
Manny Alfonso, PharmD, BCOP
Rotation: Internal Medicine
Manny Alfonso obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics & Nutrition from Florida International University in 2017. He then pursued his PharmD from Nova Southeastern University in 2021. He completed his PGY1 residency at Baptist Hospital of Miami and his PGY2 in Oncology at The Miami Cancer Institute/Baptist Health in Miami, FL. Manny joined Memorial Hospital West as a malignant hematology & cellular therapy clinical pharmacy specialist. He is board-certified in oncology and completed his teaching certificate from the University of Connecticut. Manny serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students, PGY1 residents, and PGY2 oncology residents.
Alexandra Angel, Pharm.D., BCPS, AAHIVP, CPh
Rotation: Transitions of Care
Alexandra Angel obtained her Pharm.D. degree from Larkin University in Miami, Florida in 2019. She completed a PGY1 residency at West Kendall – Baptist Health South Florida in Miami, Florida. She then transferred to Bethesda East Hospital, also a part of Baptist Health South Florida, to establish a pharmacy emergency medicine line of service. There, she also worked as the Transitions of Care pharmacist, before joining the Memorial Hospital West team in 2024 as the Transitions of Care specialist. She is board-certified in Pharmacotherapy and also holds a board certification with the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Alexandra is an active member of FSHP and actively precepts students from Larkin University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and Palm Beach Atlantic Colleges of Pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Diana Beltran, PharmD, BCPS
Rotation: Transitions of Care
Diana Beltran obtained her PharmD in 2009 from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She completed a PGY1 residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida where she worked as a clinical pharmacist and transplant pharmacist before joining the Memorial Hospital West team in 2018 as an internal medicine specialist. Diana currently serves as a coordinator for Transitions of Care/Internal Medicine and is board-certified in Pharmacotherapy. She plays an active role in the system-wide Diabetes Task Force and Transitions of Care Task Force Diana precepts students from Nova Southeastern University and University of South Florida, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Annette Bernal, PharmD
Rotation: Specialty Pharmacy
Annette Bernal obtained her PharmD degree in 2007 from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. Annette served as a community pharmacist, and after becoming a managed care pharmacist, was responsible for implementing the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Program. She is now the program manager for Clinical Pharmacy Ambulatory Program at Memorial Specialty Pharmacy and an ASHP member. Annette precepts students from Palm Beach Atlantic and Larkin colleges of pharmacy, as well PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Yamil Cabrera, PharmD, BCNSP
Rotation: Nutrition Support
Yamil Cabrera obtained his PharmD degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1994. He has held various positions throughout his career, including the director of pharmacy at a rehabilitation center. Yamil is a clinical pharmacist at Memorial Hospital West performing Nutrition Support pharmacy services and is board-certified in Nutrition Support.
Melissa Catalano, PharmD, BCEMP
Rotation: Emergency Medicine
Melissa Catalano obtained her Bachelor’s in Chemical Science and Bachelor’s in Social Work degrees in 2014 from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and her PharmD degree in 2020 from the University of Florida in Jacksonville, FL. She completed a PGY1 Pediatric Emphasis Residency at Wolfson Children’s Hospital/Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL and a PGY2 in Emergency Medicine at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. Melissa joined Memorial Hospital West as an emergency medicine clinical specialist. She is a member of FSHP, ASHP, ACCP, and Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society. Melissa is a career coach for students at the University of Florida, precepts students from Nova Southeastern University, PGY1 and PGY2 residents, and works closely with the GME Emergency Medicine Residency program.
Giselle Chahili, PharmD, BCPS, BCCP
Rotation: Cardiology
Giselle Chahili earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Stony Brook University in 2015 and her PharmD from Touro College of Pharmacy in 2020. She completed both her PGY-1 and PGY-2 cardiology residencies at Baptist Hospital of Miami before becoming a cardiology clinical pharmacy specialist at Broward Health Medical Center, where she also served as the PGY-1 residency coordinator. Giselle holds dual board certifications in pharmacotherapy and cardiology. Giselle has joined Memorial Hospital West as a cardiology clinical pharmacy coordinator and PGY-1 residency associate program director. She plays an active role in system and local cardiology committees, such as the MHS CAT Force, MHS HF Taskforce, and MHW HF Committee. Additionally, she serves as a faculty preceptor to pharmacy students and residents and is a member of ACCP and ACC.
Maria de la Cova, PharmD, BCPS, BCNSP
Rotation: Clinical Management
Maria De La Cova obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston and her PharmD degree from Nova Southeastern University. Maria began her career at Hialeah Hospital as a clinical coordinator, and after serving in that role for 10 years transferred to Memorial Hospital West to become the clinical pharmacy manager. Maria is an active member of several system-wide committees including the District Formulary Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Alaris Pump Library, Diabetes Taskforce, amongst others. She precepts students from Nova Southeastern University and Larkin colleges of pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Suskriti Dixit, PharmD, BCPS
Rotation: Internal Medicine
Suskriti Dixit obtained her PharmD in 2022 from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Pharmacy in Richmond, VA. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residency at VCU Health. She also received her teaching and learning certificate from VCU School of Pharmacy. She joined Memorial Hospital West as a clinical pharmacy specialist in internal medicine upon completion of her PGY2 residency. Suskriti is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and her primary interests are in cardiology and hepatology. Suskriti will precept pharmacy students as well as pharmacy residents.
Tatyana Duverglas, PharmD, BCCCP, BCPS
Rotation: Critical Care
Tatyana Duverglas obtained her PharmD degree from Howard University in 2010. She completed a PGY1 residency at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL and worked at various Memorial Healthcare System sites prior to transferring to Memorial Hospital West as a critical care specialist. Tatyana holds dual board certifications in Critical Care and Pharmacotherapy and serves on the Critical Care Specialist Committee. Tatyana is a peer reviewer for The Journal of Pharmacotherapy and an active member of ACCP.
Earlene Dyer, PharmD, BCCCP
Rotation: Critical Care
Earlene Dyer obtained her Bachelor's in Biology from Bates College in Lewiston, MN and PharmD degree from Arnold & Marie Schwarz in Brooklyn, NY. She completed a PGY1 residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Earlene serves as a clinical specialist in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine and is board-certified in Critical Care. She is a member of ACCP and ASHP and an active member of system-wide Critical Care Specialist and Emergency Department Toxicology Pharmacy Committees. Earlene precepts students from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Nova Southeastern University and Larkin colleges of pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Patrick Funderburk, PharmD
Rotation: Emergency Medicine
Patrick Funderburk obtained his bachelor’s in biology in 2017 from Florida State University and his PharmD degree in 2021 from Texas A&M University. He completed both his PGY1 and PGY2 Emergency Medicine residencies at AdventHealth Orlando in Orlando, FL, from 2021-2023. His focused clinical interests include resuscitation, toxicology, and infectious diseases. Patrick is a preceptor for students from USF, Larkin.
Esther (Lily) Garcia, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP

Lily Garcia obtained her PharmD degree in 2016 from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. She completed a PGY1 residency at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where was hired to practice as an infectious disease clinical pharmacy specialist. Lily holds dual board certification in Pharmacotherapy and Infectious Diseases, as well as certification of completion for the MAD-ID Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship Training Program. Lily has joined Memorial Hospital West as an infectious diseases clinical coordinator and the PGY2 Infectious Disease Residency program director. She plays an active role in system and local ASP committees where she collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to implement initiatives that optimize antimicrobial utilization. Lily is also a member of the ACCP ID PRN, FSHP and SIDP. She serves as a faculty member for the Infectious Diseases Medical Fellowship Program, preceptor to pharmacy students, PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Christian J Gonzalez Hernandez, PharmD, BCPS
Rotation: Internal Medicine
Christian J. Gonzalez Hernandez obtained his PharmD degree in 2020 from Nova Southeastern University. He completed a PGY1 residency at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, where he worked as an internal medicine and critical care specialist before joining the Memorial Hospital West team in 2024 as an internal medicine specialist. Christian currently serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine PGY2 program and is an active member of ASHP and FSHP. He is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and has a strong interest in infectious diseases, cardiology, and drug literature evaluation and interpretation. Christian also precepts students from Nova Southeastern University, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Jennifer Henry, PharmD,
Rotation: Administration and Leadership
Jennifer Henry obtained her PharmD degree from Mercer University’s College of Pharmacy in Atlanta, GA in 2008. Upon graduation, Jennifer joined the HCA Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, GA servicing all northwest Georgia and parts of Alabama where she served as Pharmacy Operations Manager for two years. In 2010, she was promoted and relocated to serve as Director of Pharmacy at HCA St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL. In 2015, Jennifer was promoted and relocated to New Orleans to serve as director of Pharmacy over the multi-campus teaching hospital HCA Tulane Medical Center. In 2018, Jennifer relocated back to South Florida to serve as the director of Pharmacy at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, FL.
Kyle Hultz, PharmD
Kyle Hultz obtained his PharmD degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA in 2017. He completed his PGY1 and PGY2 residency in Emergency Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. During his PGY2, Kyle was hired as an emergency medicine clinical specialist at Yale, where he served as a preceptor for the PGY1 and several PGY2 residency programs. In 2021, Kyle moved to Florida and joined Memorial Healthcare System as an EM Clinical Specialist at Memorial Regional where he continued to precept students and residents and was engaged in local and systemwide committees. In 2024, Kyle joined the team at Memorial West as the Emergency Medicine Clinical Coordinator. He is an active member of SAEM & ASHP where he serves on the career development committee and EM Section Advisory Group. Kyle is appointed to Battelle’s Partnership for Quality Measures as a voting member of the Endorsement & Maintenance Committee responsible for the adoption or removal of national CMS measures. Kyle precepts students as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents and is the Residency Program Coordinator for the MHW PGY2 Infectious Disease program.
Gabriela Iturralde, PharmD, BCPS
Rotation: Cardiology
Gabriela Iturralde obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Physiology in 2015 from Florida State University and her PharmD degree in 2020 from the University of Florida (Orlando campus). She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, FL, then joined our Memorial Hospital West inpatient pharmacy team as a clinical pharmacist. Due to her interest in caring for higher acuity and cardiac patients, Gabriela primarily worked in our IMCU and cardiac telemetry unit on the 7th floor as a new full-time clinical pharmacist. She then joined our Advanced Heart Failure team rounding service, obtained her BCPS certification, and completed the ASHP Cardiology Pharmacy certificate. She is a member of FSHP, ASHP, Kappa Psi, and Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society. Gabriela also precepts students from Nova Southeastern University and PGY1 pharmacy residents.
Gerard Jacinto, PharmD
Rotation: Internal Medicine
Gerard Jacinto obtained his PharmD degree in 2022 from the Medical University of South Caroline in Charleston, SC. He completed his PGY1 residency and PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency at Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL. After completing residency training, he joined the Memorial Hospital West team in 2024 as the infectious diseases pharmacy clinical specialist. He actively rounds with the infectious diseases team of physicians, fellows, and medical residents. Gerard is an active member of the system's antimicrobial stewardship program and precepts students from Nova Southeastern University, PGY1, and PGY2 residents.
Kevin Liu, PharmD, BCCCP
Rotation: Critical Care
Kevin Liu obtained his Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences and minor in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida in 2016 and his PharmD in 2020 from Larkin University. He completed his PGY1 residency at Memorial Hospital West where he worked as the Critical Care and Emergency Medicine Pharmacist. He currently serves as Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist. Kevin is board-certified in Critical Care and certified in Emergency Neurological Life Support. He precepts students from Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Nichelle Logan, PharmD, CPh, BCACP
Rotation: Ambulatory Care
Nichelle Logan obtained her Bachelor’s in Biology in 2013 from the University of Toledo in Toledo, OH, and PharmD degree in 2017 from Manchester University in Fort Wayne, IN. She completed a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency at Valley Health in Winchester, VA and a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. Nichelle then moved to Philadelphia, PA to work at Penn Medicine as a clinical specialist within in the dermatology, rheumatology, and cardiology clinics. She later returned to South Florida and serves as a clinical ambulatory pharmacy specialist within the Memorial Primary Care Clinic. She is board-certification in Ambulatory Care, is a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist, and a member of FSHP and ADCES. Nichelle precepts students from Nova Southeastern University, Larkin University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and Palm Beach Atlantic colleges of pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Claudia Lopez, PharmD, BCPS
Rotation: Population Health
Claudia Lopez obtained her PharmD degree from the University of Florida in 2005 and is currently working towards her Master’s degree in Population Health. She completed a PGY1 residency at Malcom Randal VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. She became a clinical coordinator at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Miami VA Medical Center. Her career within the Memorial Healthcare System spanned from her roles as a clinical coordinator and operations manager to her current role as a Population Health and Transitions Manager. Claudia is board-certified in Pharmacotherapy and holds certifications in Antimicrobial Stewardship, Anticoagulation, and Pharmacy Revenue Cycle. Claudia precepts PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Stanley Luc, PharmD, BCPS, CACP
Rotation: Internal Medicine, Advanced Internal Medicine
Stanley Luc obtained his Bachelor’s in Chemistry and PharmD degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He completed his PGY1 and PGY2 24-month Pharmacotherapy Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in Amarillo, TX with an emphasis on adult medicine. He began his career as an internal medicine specialist at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL and transitioned to his current role as an internal medicine specialist at Memorial Hospital West. He is board-certified in Pharmacotherapy and Anticoagulation and has extensive research experience in anticoagulation and HIV. He is a member of the system-wide Pharmacy Anticoagulation Committee and Adult Medicine Practice Research Network of the ACCP. Valerie Marcellus, PharmD, BCACP, CPh
Rotation: Ambulatory Care
Valerie Marcellus obtained her PharmD degree in 2018 from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. She completed a PGY1 Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. She became an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Florida A&M University. During her time as an Assistant Professor, she practiced at Memorial Primary Care-West Miramar. She later joined Memorial Healthcare System full-time as a clinical ambulatory pharmacy specialist within the Memorial Primary Care Clinic. She is board-certification in Ambulatory Care and Consultant Pharmacist. Valerie precepts students from Nova Southeastern University, Larkin University, Florida A&M University, and Palm Beach Atlantic college of pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Diana Martinez, PharmD, BCOP
Rotation: Malignant Hematology and Cellular Therapy
Diana Martinez obtained her PharmD from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 2018. She completed her PGY1 residency at Advent Health in Orlando, FL and her PGY2 in Oncology at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Boise, ID. Diana is board-certification in Oncology and obtained her Teaching Certificate from the University of Florida. After completing her training, Diana became a hematology/oncology & BMT clinical specialist and currently serves as the clinical coordinator of Inpatient Oncology Services. Diana is an active member of several organizations including ASBMT, HOPA, NCODA, and FLASCO. She plays an active role in the MHS Research Committee and Hematology/Oncology Advisory Committee. Diana precepts students from Nova Southeastern University and Lake Erie College of Medicine colleges of pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Giovanna Middlebrook, PharmD, BCPS
Rotation: Staffing
Giovanna Middlebrook obtained her Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of South Florida in 2012 and her PharmD degree from the University of South Florida in 2017. She completed a PGY1 residency at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and a PGY2 in Internal Medicine from New York-Presbyterian Hospital. After residency, she became an internal medicine specialist at Memorial Hospital West where she serves as a member of the multidisciplinary GME rounding team and is board-certified in Pharmacotherapy. Giovanna was honored as a recipient of the Patient First Award for patient care. She is a member of the Diabetes Task Force and the Pharmacy Anticoagulation Team. Giovanna precepts students, PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Nayeli Montes, PharmD, MSBI, BCCCP
Rotation: Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure
Nayeli Montes obtained her Bachelor’s in Biology in 2013, Master’s in Biomedical Informatics in 2017, and PharmD degree in 2017 from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. She completed a PGY1 residency at Memorial Hospital West and a PGY2 in Critical Care at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside. Nayeli then returned to Memorial Hospital West as a critical care specialist and is the current clinical pharmacy coordinator in Cardiology and PGY1 Residency program coordinator. She is board-certified in Critical Care, a member of ACCP, SCCM, ASHP, and FSHP and has held a state-position as the Liaison for the Broward/Dade Region of the Florida Chapter of SCCM. She plays an active role in the system-wide Heart Failure Task Force, Critical Care Specialist Committees, amongst others. Nayeli precepts students from NSU and Larkin colleges of pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Elizabeth Osmon, PharmD, BCPS, BCOP
Rotation: Medical Oncology
Elizabeth Osmon obtained her PharmD degree in 2019 from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. She completed a PGY1 Residency at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and a PGY2 in Oncology at Baptist Hospital of Miami/Miami Cancer Institute. After residency, Elizabeth joined Memorial Hospital West as an oncology clinical specialist and primarily works with Memorial Cancer Institute’s inpatient Medical Oncology service. Elizabeth is board-certified in Pharmacotherapy and Oncology. She is an active member in system-wide committees such as Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and Hematology/Oncology Advisory Committee. Additionally, she is a member of ASHP, HOPA, and FLASCO. Elizabeth precepts students from Palm Beach Atlantic and Nova Southeastern University colleges of pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Andriette Palermo, PharmD, CPPS
Rotation: Medication Safety
Andriette Palermo obtained her PharmD degree from Southeastern College of Pharmacy (now NSU) in 1992. She has had many experiences throughout her career, spanning from staff pharmacist to management and consultant positions. Andriette has served as Memorial Hospital West’s medication safety and quality coordinator for over 10 years, is a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), and has obtained the ASHP Medication Safety Certification. She is a member of ASHP, FSHP and SESHP, serves as the MHW Medication Safety Committee Chair, and plays an active role in system-wide committees such as Quality and Medication Safety and Performance Improvement Risk Management. Andriette precepts students from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, the University of Florida, Nova Southeastern University, and Palm Beach Atlantic colleges of pharmacy.
Laura Pequeno, PharmD, BCPS
Rotation: Staffing
Laura Pequeño obtained her PharmD degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 1998. Her clinical training included serving as the lead clinical pharmacist and clinical coordinator at Kendall Regional Medical Center for over 8 years. In 2004, she moved to Memorial Hospital Miramar as a clinical coordinator and began the PGY1 Residency Program as their first residency program director. In 2017, she transferred to Memorial Hospital West to help start the Antimicrobial Stewardship service and transitioned to her current role as an internal medicine specialist and serves as a member of the Graduate Medical Education program rounding service. Laura is board-certified in Pharmacotherapy and has obtained certifications in Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Diabetic Patient Care, Basic Arrhythmia, and Antimicrobial Stewardship through SIDP, as well as a Teaching Certificate from the University of Kentucky. She precepts students from the University of Florida, Nova Southeastern University and Lake Erie College of Medicine colleges of pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Carol Raschke, PharmD
Rotation: Internal Medicine
Carol Raschke obtained her PharmD degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. She completed a PGY1 residency at the University of Florida Shands in Drug Information and Internal Medicine. Carol obtained certificates in Anticoagulation, Medication Therapy Management, MAD ID Antibiotic Stewardship, USSF Teaching, and in Opioid Analgesic Therapy. Throughout her career Carol has worked as an anticoagulation clinical specialist, ER clinical specialist, and clinical coordinator of Hospital Pharmacy Services. She currently holds the role of internal medicine specialist, serves on the Pharmacy Anticoagulation Team and Larkin University Preceptor Advisory Board, and maintains active membership with FSHP. Carol precepts students from Nova Southeastern University, Larkin, and the University of Florida colleges of pharmacy.
Kamarena Sankar, PharmD, BCCCP
Rotation: Critical Care
Kamarena Sankar obtained his Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of Florida in 2013 and his PharmD degree from Nova Southern University in 2017. He completed a PGY1 residency at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, FL and a PGY2 residency in Critical Care at Baptist Hospital of Miami. Kam is board-certified in Critical Care and serves on the system-wide Critical Care and Emergency Medicine Committees. He precepts students from Nova Southeastern University and the University of Florida colleges of pharmacy, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Dorinda Segovia, PharmD, MBA
Rotation: Executive Leadership
Dorinda Segovia is the vice president and chief pharmacy officer for Memorial Healthcare System and the program director for the PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency Program. She obtained her PharmD degree from Nova Southeastern University and her Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. She completed a PGY1 Residency at the Miami VA and is a Board-Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist. Her academic-centered commitment made her the recipient of Florida Pharmacy Association Jean Lamberti Mentorship Award. With over 25 years of pharmacy leadership experience in community, managed care, and health-system pharmacy, in 2018 she was the recipient of the Florida Society of Health System Pharmacist’s Excellence in Pharmacy Leadership and Mentor of the Year in 2021. NSU named Dorinda the Alumni of the Year in 2020 and she was inducted to their Phi Lambda Sigma Omega Leadership Chapter in 2021. Dorinda was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush and served a five year term assisting in the selection of the drug formulary for the Medicaid population and currently serves as a member to the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
Daria Szczepanek, PharmD, BCEMP
Rotation: Emergency Medicine
Daria Szczepanek obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts in Spanish and PharmD degree in 2020 from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. She completed a PGY1 residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital in Detroit, MI and a PGY2 in Emergency Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Daria is an emergency medicine clinical specialist at Memorial Hospital West with professional interests that include psychiatry and toxicology. Daria serves as a member of ACCP, CPNP, and ASHP and an author and editor of EM: RAPs CorePendium, an online drug textbook for Emergency Medicine physicians. Daria precepts students from various colleges of pharmacy, PGY1 and PGY2 residents, and works closely with the GME Emergency Medicine Residency program.
Irina Vinitskaya, PharmD, BCCCP
Rotation: Emergency Medicine
Irina Vinitskaya obtained her PharmD degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. Irina has over 10 years of experience as an emergency medicine specialist and serves on the Stroke Steering and system-wide Emergency Department Toxicology committees. She works closely with the GME Emergency Medicine Residency program and runs monthly PALS drills in collaboration with the pediatric Emergency Medicine team. Irina precepts students from various colleges of pharmacy, PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
Natalie Zilban, PharmD, MPH, BCGP
Rotation: Leadership in Medication Safety
Natalie Zilban obtained her PharmD degree from Long Island University in 2004 and a Master's degree in Public Health in 2010 from the University of Massachusetts. Natalie has experience as a clinical psychiatric pharmacist, clinical director for the State Office of Pharmacy in Massachusetts, and pharmacy care manager before becoming the Memorial Healthcare System pharmacy safety and medication officer. She is a member of SESHP and serves on several system-wide committees, including Pharmacy Quality and Safety, Pharmacy Operations Managers, Antibiotic Stewardship Program, District Formulary, Care Transformations, Diabetes Task Force, and COPD Task Force. She precepts PGY1 and PGY2 residents.
