Cancer Rehabilitation
Care to help you heal physically and emotionally
At Memorial Cancer Institute, we use the most advanced and effective cancer treatments. But even the best treatments can have unwanted side effects. Some are temporary — lasting only during treatment — while others may linger for months or even years.
The goal of cancer rehabilitation is to ease those symptoms, restore your strength and improve your ability to live life to the fullest.
What Is Cancer Rehabilitation?
Cancer rehabilitation is a collection of services that support your well-being during and after cancer treatment. While you’re receiving treatment, you may notice changes that make it more difficult to do daily tasks and activities you enjoy.
The experts in our Cancer Rehabilitation Program can help with symptoms and side effects including:
- Bladder or bowel control
- Decreased endurance
- Depression
- Fatigue

- Mobility and/or balance issues
- Movement impairments
