About Me
Dr. Emery Salom is a board-certified gynecological oncologist. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami and went on to complete his four-year obstetric and gynecologic residency and a three-year fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dr. Salom is a preceptor for Boston Scientific, teaching advanced pelvic surgery, including reconstruction of prolapsed pelvic organs. He specializes in Ethicon Endo-Surgery and the da Vinci© Robotic Surgical System, teaching other surgeons advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery. He travels annually to Africa to provide volunteer surgical support to needy populations.
