About Me

I am an endocrinologist at Memorial Healthcare System. I care for patients living with a variety of diseases and chronic illnesses including diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, bone and adrenal disorders. I treat patient’s immediate health challenges and manage their long-term care.

I enjoy helping solve health problems through science and technology while being a part of the continuity of care, working with patients over time and helping them become healthier.
At Memorial, we work in an interdisciplinary environment, meaning we work as a cohesive team to help patients have the best quality of life within the context of their condition.

Endocrinology is a fascinating and intricate field, which is often integrated with other fields of medicine due to the overlapping nature of disease. I enjoy talking to patients, figuring out what management options will best work for them, and tailoring care to their individualized needs.
To provide comprehensive care, I work with a variety of specialists including cardiologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, endocrine surgeons, neurosurgeons and the cardiac and renal transplant team.

I believe it is important for patients to be involved in their care. If patients are in on the plan, they are more likely to stick to it. It’s just as important for us as medical providers to learn who each patient is as a person. I believe this is the best way to build lasting rapport and positive outcomes.

I have an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Florida International University, where I also earned my medical degree. I completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and fellowship training in endocrinology at University of Florida Health in Jacksonville. I am board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Policies and am a member of the American Medical Association.
